Educator Training program (ETP)

Ladyinger The Educator Training Program ( ETP Aligned with FYLC).

“Building the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Educators”

At Ladyfinger Playschool & Day-care, we believe that great Educators build great futures.

Our Educator Training Programme, inspired by our in-house Formative Year Learning Curriculum (FYLC)., is designed to prepare passionate individuals to become confident, creative, and compassionate early childhood educators.

This programme blends the art of nurturing young minds with the science of early learning. Through hands-on experiences, research-backed practices, and immersive classroom engagement, our trainees learn how to make every learning moment meaningful.

About the Programme

The Ladyfinger Educator Training Programme equips future educators with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to guide children aged 6 weeks – 6 years through their most formative years.

Rooted in the Play-Based Learning philosophy, our curriculum integrates global best practices with Ladyfinger’s signature FYLC framework — focusing on how children explore, experiment, and discover through play. Trainees are introduced to a holistic approach that nurtures every domain of child development — physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and creative — while also emphasizing communication, collaboration, and innovation.

Pedagogical Approach

Our approach follows the principles of

Simple to Complex

Familiar to Unfamiliar

Concrete to Abstract

Trainees learn to teach through experience, ensuring every concept is introduced through sensory exploration — seeing, touching, hearing, and doing — before moving to abstract understanding. For example, children first see and taste a real apple before identifying it in a picture and finally learning the word “Apple.” This layered approach ensures lasting conceptual clarity and curiosity-driven
learning.
